Been doing some writing lately. Pulling out the guitar every time I have a moment to just sit with it and mess around.
I’ve really been liking some of the ideas. I’m looking forward to sharing some of them with you once I’ve got a handful of them done. This past three or four months has been full of deep learning experiences that have significantly changed the way I relate to people. It’s especially true for those who are closest to me. Some of that change will be reflected in the next batch of new songs. Stay tuned in if you’d like to stay in the loop about new music and the like. Non-musical activity to help my drumming
This past year has been quite a challenge. Many losses experienced among my family and friends. All this loss has made me reflect much more on my own personal well-being.
Someone very close to me started a Yoga teaching practice and offered me some lessons. I was quite impressed. First of all Michelle Chua of Root 2 Rise Yoga is an amazing, sensitive, caring, nurturing and skilled teacher. Her instruction has had a significant positive influence on my life and my body. I highly recommend Yoga to anyone who may want to to try something a little different to keep yourself in good health.
It’s also been great for my drumming. My technique improves as I improve in my Yoga practice.

This album has been a long time coming! Singer/songwriters Arielle and Jesse Hayes have finally completed this beautiful collection of songs for their album “Chasing Strangers”
